The long bones in the front of the foot (metatarsals) form joints with the bones in the middle of the foot and this group of joints are termed the Lisfranc’s (or tarsal) Joint. Damage to one or all of these joins can result in pain, arthritis or instability. Severe disruption can result in a flat foot deformity.
